3P Certified clients are covered by our 3P Certified Guarantee which states that 3P will provide clients with additional treatments at the discretion of 3P America if any harmful pathogen is discovered within the vicinity during the covered period. These treatments are limited to and may not exceed the scope of the initial service treatment plan and 3P America does not assume any further liabilities unless otherwise noted within the signed Service Contract Agreement.
3P America provides 3P Certified clients with the 3P Certified Guarantee on all of it’s services provided within the 3P Certification treatment plan. As the requirements for each Client are unique, 3P America reserves the right to limit, reduce, or modify the specifications of the 3P Certified Guarantee providing the provisions are disclosed within the Service Contract Agreement or agreed upon between the Client and 3P America at a later date.
The 3P Certification Guarantee is only provided during the service period noted on the Client’s latest issued 3P Certification Certificate. Upon expiration, 3P America will hold no obligation or liability to the Client in regards to it’s services, products, or guarantees.

3P America makes every effort to adhere to protocols instituted by the Center for Disease Control Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and the National Institute of Health (NIH), however due to the infancy of research there is no testing that exists to ensure total 100% elimination of the coronavirus. 3P America guarantees that its 3P Certification service will curb the spread and threat of coronavirus and other harmful pathogens, however, it cannot guarantee with 100% certainty the total eradication of it.
Cleaning agents and disinfectants for 3P America Services and Solutions
The perfect disinfectant or product for healthcare disinfection has not been introduced; however, many disinfectants exist that offer unique and beneficial characteristics. As of March 10, 2020, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendation on disinfectant products for COVID-19 is to use an Environmental Protection Agency-registered disinfectant on List ‘N’ on the EPA website that has qualified under the EPA’s emerging viral pathogens program for use against SARS-CoV-2.2-4
The rationale for this recommendation is if disinfectants inactivate harder to inactivate microorganisms (e.g., mycobacteria, non-enveloped viruses) than coronaviruses, they should be expected to inactivate COVID-19. This logic is based on the recognition by the CDC4 and the EPA2 that certain microorganisms can be ranked with respect to their tolerance or resistance to chemical disinfectants (i.e., Spaulding classification model).
The solution used by 3P America’s Protect service has been scientifically proven effective at eliminating coronavirus and much harder to kill viruses such as poliovirus. This non-toxic solution is stated by the manufacturer as not harmful to plants, animals, or humans in limited quantities and continues to eliminate harmful bacteria, fungi, and viruses for up to 6 months on treated surface areas.
All testing, certifications, and specifications for the disinfecting agents used by 3P America are provided by the product manufacturer and in no way constitute the opinion or recommendation of 3P America. 3P America is not liable for any inaccuracies in but not limited to the product descriptions, labeling, scientific research, lab results or any other relevant information provided by the product manufacturer.
UVC Sanitization processes employed by 3P America Services and Solutions
3P America employs the use of UVC irradiation devices to disinfect interior spaces. UVC or Ultraviolet-C light waves break down the DNA molecules of bacteria, viruses, microbes and other pathogens causing them to ‘inactivate’ or become harmless.
3P America recognizes that in cases where the UVC light cannot reach a particular pathogen, that pathogen will not be disinfected. However in general, reducing the total number of pathogens reduces the risk of transmission and is therefore a net positive benefit to clients.
Studies by the National Institute of Health (NIH) such as the https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6801766/ show that the total pathogenic load in a vicinity can be reduced substantially by applying UVC irradiation to the many surfaces that are readily exposed, as a secondary barrier to cleaning, especially in hurried conditions. This would be a matter of illuminating the relevant surfaces with UVC light, for example the air and surfaces around/in rooms and personal protective equipment.
UV light, specifically between 200-280nm[i] (UVC or the germicidal range), inactivates (aka, ‘kills’) at least two other coronaviruses that are near-relatives of the COVID-19 virus: 1) SARS-CoV-1[ii] and 2) MERS-CoV[iii] [iv] [v]. An important caveat is this inactivation has been demonstrated under controlled conditions in the laboratory. The effectiveness of UV light in practice depends on factors such as the exposure time and the ability of the UV light to reach the viruses in water, air, and in the folds and crevices of materials and surfaces.
3P America’s Purge service takes these factors into account, to the best of our ability, to determine a proper procedure for each client uniquely determined by the interior surface areas and surroundings of the vicinity to be treated. Despite this, 3P America does not and cannot guarantee with any certainty 100% elimination of all harmful pathogens within treated areas.
The 3P Prevent service applies a non-toxic, antimicrobial, protective coating to treated surface areas that prevents future contaminants from binding or replicating. This coating has been shown to prevent replication and eliminate 99.99% of bacteria and viruses that come into contact with treated surfaces. The solution has been extensively tested by the CDC and proven effective against the following contaminants:
